Myname is Joe Vachule.  I am the owner of Native Woods Texas, a custom woodworking business in Houston, Texas.

I like trees. I like cutting them up and making stuff out of them. When possible, I try to use the natural shapes, edges and even sometimes the bark of each piece of wood. While any of the designs found on this website can be reproduced, each one is unique in its figuring & characteristics. I am also glad to work with clients on their own ideas.

Years in business

Native Woods Texas is a newer venture focused on creating original, handcrafted rustic furniture, bowls, and other designs. I am also the owner of Construction Dynamics, a Houston-based cabinet and millwork company that has been in operation since 1989. 

Clientele
                        In addition to custom woodworking, we have a rich history in commercial millwork. We work for several general contractors in the area as well as serve as direct vendors for some larger institutions. Although, most of our work is done within Harris and surrounding counties, we have completed many projects within a 300 mile radius.
